Great Tennis Backhand & He’s Only 9 Years Old
It’s not often you get the chance to improve your tennis backhand by watching a 9 year old kid – but here is one such chance.
I thought I’d let you have a look at this tennis backhand video I shot last week when he was doing some tennis backhand drills.
So, this double handed back hand (as some call it) has all the hallmarks of the great modern players and is a tennis shot that looks easy to produce.
What I really think is good is that even at this age he has delveloped slice backhand which does give people trouble and wins him a lot of points.
Have a look and tell me what you think!
Anaerobic Training For Tennis
As well as gathering info on how to improve your game, how do you ever know if you are getting better?
I know what you are going to say, “I just know I am!”
Believe me that’s not enough!
Of course you can sometimes tell if you are doing something “better”, but we need to be more specific.
Take your tennis fitness for example. you should be performing some anaerobic training to help you with your tennis stamina and tennis endurance.
Check out this simple but SUPER effective drill that you can use to improve AND test your anaerobic capacity which is very important as it will determine the intensity and the length of time you are able to play.

Federer Back To His Best
A truly magnificant performance by Roger Federer saw the Swiss former (still sounds strange) World No1 create yet more history by winning his 5th straight US Open win.
He was back to his awesome best and showed the difference between Murray last oponent, and Federer the serve!!
Nadal was unable to hurt Murray with his serve while Federer could.
So along with the serve, Federer had the forehand which he hit with power & penetration to great effect!
So, just as we were writing Federer off as a spent force at the top of the game, he bounces back “BIG time” to win the US Open and to bring his 2008 Grand Slam record to 1 semi final and 3 finals (1 Win) – Now that’s what I call Rubbish
Well Done Andy Murray!
Well done Andy Murray.
What a fantastic victory yesterday over Rafa Nadal to reach the final of the Mens singles at he US Open.
There is definitely a mixed feeling about him over here in the UK but there is no doubt that the tennis he played over the last two days (which has been building up over the last few months to be honest) was nothing short of AMAZING!!
This does remind me a lot of the rise to the US Open crown of Marat Safin, when he beat Pete Sampras a few years ago.
That match up has so many comparisons you could make to tonights final where Murray takes on Roger Federer that I wonder if destiny really is on Murrays side?
Anyway, if he can reproduce anything like the form he produced against Nadal I find it hard to see him losing to be honest!
Federer of course has an awesome Grand Slam Final record and people seem to forget he is going for his 5th straight US Open win (in itself unreal), he also played great against Djokovic in his semi final and has had an extra day to rest!
Should be a great final – I can’t wait.
A Tennis Fitness Programme That’s As Easy As Plug And Play!
As I mentioned last time, I have finished what I think is the Ultimate Tennis Fitness programme/resource.
I have put to paper the exact same system I use to put together the tennis training programmes of all the players I work with.
The problem before for everyone was that you knew that getting fitter could only help your game, but you weren’t quite sure how to go about their tennis training.
Trying to work out what to do to improve your tennis speed, tennis strength, tennis footwork, tennis endurance, tennis power etc was a massive chore on its own, but to then try and put them into some kind of order that you knew would work was impossible for the average tennis player.
This is where the tennis fitness programme comes into its own!
It gives me (and therefore you) the templates for scheduled workouts anywhere from 2 weeks up to 4 months!!!
All programmes are laid out in a day to day format so you know what you are doing every day from day 1!!
And there are loads of exercise descriptions and diagrams so that you know what to do.
How can you fail – You can’t!!
So, if you have a tournament to get ready for in say 6 weeks, you can just get the 6 week schedule and you know exactly what fitness components you will work on. You then refer to the session guides to explain what you will do in each session.
Or maybe you just want to get yourself really Tennis Fit and want to know exactly what you need to do.
It just couldn’t be easier.
It is just like plug and play!

The Ultimate Tennis Fitness Programme & Planner
Well. here it is!!
I’ve been working on it for a while, but now it’s finished.
Everybody knows they have to do fitness work to inmprove their tennis, but how many people know -
1. What they should be doing.
and
2. When they should be doing it.
Of course you could get some info on what to do, but there is very little info about when to do it on a daily basis!
Let me make it clear, you wouldn’t find Federer, Nadal or Sharapova doing anything without a tennis fitness programme in place.
With the ULTIMATE TENNIS FITNESS PROGRAMME PLANNER you know EXACTLY what you need to do day by day with schedules ranging from 2 weeks to 4 months.
All sessions are explained and have diagrams. There are also 3 levels to suit every player.
Checkout this wordcloud and then go to http://www.tennisfitnessprogramme.com!!
